Saturday 12th October 2024 – swapmeet at Milton Keynes

The swapmeet will open to T.H.G. members at 10-00am and close at 1-00pm. There are 24 tables that are available to be booked. There is a charge of £5.00 per table and Laurence I will collect this from the table holders on the day. Tables must be booked in advance with Laurence Rudolf, the events organiser telephone 0330-321-1844 (option 5) or e-mail events@thg.org.uk
If you are booking a table you will have access to the hall from 9-00 am for those who have taken a table and are setting up.
Fawley Hill private steam railway and museum Sunday 28th July 2024

Fawley Hill museum society runs steam days around 5 days a year. It is a private museum and not open to the public. You can only attend with a group and this is by private invitation. A minimum donation of £15.00 per person is required.

Avoncroft Museum, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B60 4JR
Sunday 14th April 2024 Avoncroft Museum, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B60 4JR Swapmeet, and tour of the National Kiosk Collection.
The swapmeet will be held again in the Guesten Hall Building. As it is at ground floor level it is much easier to unload and set up; also the hall is quite large and there is ample space. The Avoncroft Museum has very kindly waived their admission charges for paid up T.H.G. members for this day only. This will mean that members will not have to pay the £12.50 admission fee. Avoncroft will have a list on the day of current paid up T.H.G. members. If you want to get in free you will need to be on the list so that you can be ticked off. If your membership has lapsed then you will not get in without full payment. The free admission is just for the T.H.G. member. Seniors/Students will have to pay £10.50 and children £6.50. The swapmeet will open to T.H.G. members from 10.00 when the museum opens. The swapmeet will end promptly at 1.00pm. The Museum closes at 4-00pm. We must vacate the Guesten hall at 2-00pm. The museum can only have a maximum of 6 cars near the Guesten Hall at one time.Avoncroft is two miles south of Bromsgrove off the A38 bypass (400 yards north of its junction with the B4091). It is three miles north of the M5, Junction 5 and three miles south of the M42, junction 1. Regular bus services from Bromsgrove and Droitwich and from Birmingham and Worcester. Bromsgrove railway station is one mile away.
Under the Museums health and safety policy, In order for this swapmeet to go ahead the T.H.G.have agreed to the following;- No items that belong to T.H.G. members can be plugged in to any electrical sockets. The general public can come into the swapmeet. T.H.G. members familiy’s are welcome. The museum will allow cars on site before 9-30am for unloading, however by 10.00am all cars should be off site and in the car park.

Saturday 12th August 2023- Unicorn Restorations- Nutfield Rd, Merstham, Redhill RH1 3ER
The THG have had a couple open days at Unicorn Restorations in the past and these visits have been very popular with our members. This open day will also have the addition of a small Swapmeet. The amount of tables/floor space is limited and you must pre book with Laurence Rudolf, the events organiser, telephone 0330-321-1844 (option 5) or e-mail events@thg.org.uk. Those setting up will be allowed in at 9am. Members will be allowed in from 10am due to it being a tight space. The open day will close at 3pm.

Sunday 23rd April 2023—Swapmeet, and tour of the National Kiosk Collection—Avoncroft Museum, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B60 4JR
Like 2022, the swapmeet will be held again in the Guesten Hall Building from 10:30 to 13:30. THG Members get free admission to the National Kiosk Collection (and the rest of Avoncroft) so make sure that your membership is up to date at the time of the event.
